LISTEN TO TLR’S LATEST PODCAST:

By Kody Fairfield

A former ESPN hostess is speaking out following her removal from the network, hinting that she was removed from the sports channel for espousing a conservative viewpoint.

Fox News reports that in a now deleted tweet, Britt McHenry hints that being an open conservative at ESPN doesn’t turn out well.

“I mean I’ve been openly Conservative…look how that ended up,” she tweeted Monday in reply to a tweet that claimed ESPN was leaning left.

McHenry appear to double down on her deleted tweet on Tuesday however, when she tweeted:

According to Fox News, McHenry was one of 100 or so employees who were let go in April.

The Libertarian Republic has reached out to McHenry for comment.

ESPN has yet to respond to comments regarding the tweet, explained Fox News
