MEXICO CITY, MEXICO – Buzzfeed has an interesting video out that takes you on a tour of the Mexican Army’s Narco War Museum. The museum contains beautiful weapons that are truly works of art, including gold-plated AK-47’s, rocket launchers and even a bullet-proof leather jacket.[contextly_sidebar id=”dcec01ebadda90782876ee4d4d3a97b6″]

The museum has murals depicting the War on Drugs as well as items of interest such as a surfboard stuffed with drugs and diamond-encrusted pistols. They even have a stuffed drug dog who was allegedly responsible for finding approximately 3 tons of marijuana.

The museum is private and was opened in 1985 by the military to educate soldiers about the culture of the drug cartels. It started as a single room full of confiscated heroin and cocaine but then grew to ten rooms full of guns, drugs and bling.

Enjoy!
