KUNA, ID – Cops not only didn’t arrest a naked, drunk intruder who defecated all over a Kuna, Idaho family’s home after being called to the scene by members of the family, but they also dropped the intruder off at his house.
Jake and Tricia Gillaspy woke up early in the morning to find Matthew Coomes, 25, standing over them while naked and inebriated. Jake Gillaspy grabbed his gun and warned the intruder to leave and called the police.
The family surveyed the damage, finding that Coomes flooded the kitchen and defecated on the floor and streaked fecal matter on the walls. Coomes claims that he doesn’t remember going into the home, getting naked and causing all the damage.
“He craps on my floor, and he must have been playing in it because he streaked it down the side of my walls,” Tricia Gillaspy told KTVB. “The stain is gone finally, thank goodness.”
Making matters worse, the cops responding to the family’s urgent call simply cited Coomes for two misdemeanors and dropped him off at home. Coomes was not arrested.
The police department is investigating the incident.
