Cop Tries to Shoot Dog, Misses and Hits 10-Year-Old Child (VIDEO)

COFFEE COUNTY, GA – A Coffee County Sheriffs deputy tried to shoot a dog that was allegedly running towards the deputy while he was looking for a suspect.  Instead, the cop shot a 10-year-old kid.

The child, who was shot in the back of the knee, was transported to the Coffee Regional Medical Center and then to Savannah Memorial Hospital for surgery.

With the number of family pet executions carried out by cops in this country, it’s a miracle that more humans haven’t been caught in the crossfire.

It’s time for a serious change in the way cops are trained to deal with family pets. A 10-year-old child is possibly maimed for the rest of his life and could have died because a cop decided to shoot, rather than pepper spray or even shoo off a dog.

This is outrageous and unacceptable.
