China Reveals 3D Printer That Prints… Human Organs (VIDEO)

Need a new kidney? Print one!

HANGZHOU, CHINA – 3D printing is preparing to revolutionize not just the general manufacturing industry, but the medical industry as well. CNN has reported that China has produced a 3D printer that prints biological material. The process uses medical polymer, inorganic materials and water gel mixed with viable cells. The printer is named Regenovo.

According to Xu Ming’en, head of the universities’ research team, Regenovo’s printed cells have a survival rate of 90% with a living time of up to four months.

Didn’t watch the videos, but this is good news.
Disappointing that the Chinese seem to have it first.
When this tech is good enough to produce body parts that last indefinitely, it will be absolutely wonderful to see the costs of things like replacement hearts and kidneys drop.
Truly a step in the right direction.

If the government takes control of this new technology, cost of organ replacement will increase! Oh and they’ll probably leave lead inside your body since they’re MADE IN CHINA and then you’ll die.

I am more enticed by the prospects of a 3D printed Rib-Eye.
