Children evacuated from swimming pool after a prosthetic leg was mistaken for a pedophile

KENT, UK – A class of schoolchildren were evacuated from a swimming pool after someone spotted a prosthetic leg and mistook it for a pedophile.

Kings Hill Primary School teachers in Kent spotted the leg sticking out of a cubicle while they were taking their children swimming at a local leisure center. Believing it to be a “peeping Tom,” they alerted the staff and evacuated all 60 children from the pool.

The independent reported that Head teacher Kerry Thomas said: “One of the members of the staff had seen it and we quickly moved the children out, everything was dealt with in accordance with school policy.

Further investigations revealed that the leg poking out of a nearby cubicle belonged to a disabled man who had left it on the floor while he was swimming. Historian Tim Stanley wrote, “I can’t wait to read about the pedophile who was mistaken for a prosthetic leg.”
