BREAKING: SHOTS FIRED NEAR U.S. CAPITOL

Reports of shots fired at the U.S. Capitol on Thursday afternoon, according to several news outlets. Shots came from outside the rotunda building. Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI) reported hearing the shots fired. One officer is confirmed injured.

Citizens near the Capitol are being urged to shelter in place. Close, lock and stay away from all external doors and windows, move to their offices and check in with their OEC.

Reports are saying that this incident may be related to a car chase that occurred earlier.

He is also a frequent contributor on television, appearing on Fox News, Fox Business, CNN, MSNBC and on dozens of local radio shows.
