BREAKING: Russia Today Anchor Resigns Live On Air (VIDEO)

Russia Today Anchor Liz Wahl publicly resigned today from the network as an act of protest against the Russian government’s military invasion of Ukraine.

Wahl expressed she felt “many ethical and moral challenges” since her grandparents fled Hungary during the era of the Soviet Union.

“Personally I cannot be part of a network funded by the Russian government which whitewashes the actions of Putin,” Wahl said and added: “I’m proud to be an American and believe in disseminating the truth, and that is why after this newscast I’m resigning.”

He is the founder of The Libertarian Republic, a powerful online news source for the public that receives an average of 1 million unique visits monthly and whose podcast, The Freedom Report, receives an average of one million monthly downloads. He is also a frequent contributor on television, appearing on Fox News, Fox Business, CNN, MSNBC and on dozens of local radio shows.
