Breaking Bad? Factory Owner Commits Suicide After Being Outed As Drug Kingpin

The President of Dell’s Maraschino Cherries in Brooklyn is dead after committing suicide during an investigation into his factories, revealing him to be a drug kingpin. Arthur Mondella died from a gunshot wound when authorities inspected his factory over illegal dumping, but found a marijuana production facility instead. Police claim that Mondella hid the pungent smell of marijuana by mixing it with the sweet smell of cherries.

Authorities claim to have seized three bags of marijuana weighing over 100 pounds each, as well as $125,000 in cash. The factory, which serves Chick-fil-a and many other national brands is back in operation after the sting. Apparently Mondella excused himself during the search, went to his private bathroom, and killed himself.
