BLM and Their Platform Goals, and Commonly Expressed Attitudes

By Wayne Pac

Recently a rebuttal was made by a fellow writer, Mr. Fleck. I will give Mr. Fleck credit where credit is due. The actions of a few individuals does not represent the majority of people in a movement, this is true. I would agree wholeheartedly with that statement, but I would like to point something out about BLM (Black Lives Matter). I will accept that fact that some of the leaders in the movement have openly disagreed with events such as the shooting in Dallas. I would also like to point out that even though some of the leaders in the movement disagree with these violent events, a lot of the base doesn’t. When people in St Louis were protesting the death of Michael Brown, a black man who assaulted a cop and was shot to death. They routinely called for the deaths of police officers. They said “Pigs in a blanket, fry ’em like bacon.” The same protesters saying these things wore BLM shirts, and held up BLM signs. Protesters nationwide have been taking to the streets of large cities chanting about wanting dead cops. I present the argument that the people doing this, and supporting it are not a fringe minority of BLM. I would go as far as saying the majority of the BLM movement supports these events.

BLM believes that there is an active war being waged on Black people by both whites and police officers. That is insane to believe. They also have a platform where they have demands of the government to institute policies.

BLM is rotten to the core, they believe that the government should institute authoritarian socialism/communism to the benefit of black people. Their whole movement is set on the idea that black people are oppressed in the United States of America. Black people aren’t oppressed in America, they were in the past. But who solved that? It was the pro-capitalist Republicans and Abolitionists who solved that problem, whom most of were white folks from both the north and the south.

BLM is a regressive platform that seeks to provide only for black people and neglect all other Americans. They do not care about personal liberties, they do not care about what is best for America. They are radical socialists who are too busy in their own bubble of oppression that they can’t wake up and smell the roses of capitalism. It wasn’t because of Blacks that slavery was ended in the US, it was because of white Republicans that believed in economic freedom and personal liberty. The Democratic party was the party of racism, they believed that white people should have the right to rule over a black person’s life because they are the majority of the population. Democrats also had philosophers like Nietzsche who routinely advocated slavery on the basis that black people were intellectually inferior.

They don’t realize that their whole platform is built on the idea of failed policies. Socialism doesn’t work, but they want it to be instituted. These leftist authoritarian policies are what have been the downfall of black communities in densely populated cities like Chicago. Thomas Sowell, a black economist, routinely expresses that the very people that black communities are voting for (democrats and “progressives”) are the ones to blame for the failures of black communities. Things like minimum wage, things like affirmative action policies, are what hurt black communities more. Gun control is one of the largest lies that progressivesĀ have been able to push for the black communities. During slavery Republicans were the ones promoting the 2nd amendment, and Democrats were promoting gun control. This is because Republicans back then knew just as well as 2nd amendment advocates today know, gun control hurts minorities the most. it’s a form of oppression, and black democrats are digging themselves graves with policies like these.

The BLM movement and platform demands show a complete ignorance of reality. They show a complete ignorance of economics, and wealth. I think the democrats are to blame, because the democrats have used the education system to collectively dumb down the black populace. They grow up thinking that republicans are to blame for all their problems, they grow up thinking Capitalism is evil, and that socialism is the right way to prosperity. It’s all a basket case of failed ideas, and failed policies.

I’m an egalitarian in a sense, I believe that everybody should be treated equally under the eyes of the law. I believe that a lot of our prison population that consist of blacks are due to the anti-minority policies that democrats have put in place. Democrats don’t care about how many blacks the drug war is affecting, but quite a few republicans do. Rand Paul is one of the many different republicans and libertarians advocating for the end of the drug war because it affects black communities the most.

To all black individuals out there, who would consider yourself part of the BLM movement, think about this for a while. Throughout history the people who have helped slaves the most were the freedom fighters, the liberty lovers. BLM doesn’t love liberty, they want economic authoritarianism. Join the fight for liberty, join in the idea that the abolitionists were fighting for, join the movement for liberty.
