Bizarre: Cop Nailed By Falling Tree During Traffic Stop

As any police officer will tell you, there’s no such thing as a routine traffic stop. That case held true when an officer was injured by a falling tree during a recent traffic stop. Officer Jeremy Veach was injured but will reportedly be OK after being struck by the falling object.

Chalk it up to random mayhem, a freak of nature, or even cosmic karma. But one things for sure, Officer Veach is just lucky to be alive. The night wasn’t particularly windy, but the tree may have been severely rotted, causing it to fall over directly on top of the policeman. The driver of the vehicle was mostly unhurt, sustaining minor injuries as well.
