After many long months of “taking on the entire political establishment of the Democratic Party,” Bernie Sanders has effectively jumped off the disestablishmentarianism bandwagon and hopped up on the “just kidding I’m down with the OG,” Hillary Clinton bulldozer. This was an unsettling revelation to many of his supporters; who see Clinton as a vile, Machiavellian criminal type, and part of a corrupt government system they thought Bernie Sanders was running to radically change.
Here are a few of their responses from Twitter:
@BernieSanders Please remove my e-mail from your mailing list and I’m NOT giving you permission to give it to @HillaryClinton. Thank you!

As we reported back in June, Bernie Sanders is certainly no Ron Paul. Like Ron Paul, Bernie set himself up, through his own rhetoric, to be the incorruptible candidate. A man who would stand up for his constituents against the injustice of an increasingly unfair and unjust society (even though socialism actually exasperates those problems rather than fixing them). But very unlike Ron Paul, Bernie was quick to “change his mind;” even going so far as to say that “no one is more qualified to be president,” than Hillary. You can watch the endorsement below.
Will this help Clinton; who has been recently mired in the suspicion of a great deal of Americans regarding appearances of impropriety and corruption in her FBI investigation? Or will this actually be a catalyst driving Bernie Sanders supporters away from the Democratic party in disgust? If Gary Johnson’s poll numbers keep rising steadily, we may have our answer sooner than later (and an LP candidate in the presidential debates).
