All religions equally violent? Bill Maher says “Liberal Bulls**t!”

Bill Maher invited Brian Levin, director of the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism to discuss the Boston bombers psychology behind the attacks. Levin started out by claiming that all faiths are equally bad but Maher countered immediately saying: “I mean, there’s only one faith, for example, that kills you or wants to kill you if you draw a bad cartoon of the prophet. There’s only one faith that kills you or wants to kill you if you renounce the faith. An ex-Muslim is a very dangerous thing. Talk to Salman Rushdie after the show about Christian versus Islam…So, you know, I’m just saying, let’s keep it real.”

Maher stood firm to the conviction that Islam was more dangerous than other religions citing the fact that it is the only major religion where the penalty for leaving is still death. Levin then attempted to paint Maher as an “Islamaphobe” stating that maybe he should talk to noted anti-Islam extremist Pamela Gellar who makes a career out of bashing the Islamic faith. Maher recoiled at the bizarre statement and proceeded to push Levin on whether or not Islam was compatible with the liberal values of Western society. Levin stood firm and attempted to back pedal while Maher dresses him down about the bias that leftists hold against stating the truth of anti-liberal policies pushed by those who believe in the modern form of radical Islam.
