A 14-year old girl from South England was sentenced to an eight-month detention and training order for assault, witness intimidation, and breaching a youth rehabilitation order.

The girl, whose name remains anonymous, intimidated her friend into recording her drag a male peer around by his sweatshirt, while threatening him about a boy, weed, and pissing her off.

“Are you gonna go get your cousin?’, adding: ‘Your cousin can’t do dirt on me – you understand? Do you think you are a bad yute [a Jamaican slang term for ‘youth’]?’

Throughout the video, she punches the boy, asks him where his weed is, and mocks him by saying things like, “‘Are you going to cry? Are you going to cry?” and “Don’t p*** me off or I will have you on the floor, you understand? Don’t even p*** me off.”

Facebook reactions praise the young man for not reacting and/or hitting the girl back.

One Facebook user said, “I really respect that lad for keeping his cool however it’s so frustrating that she thinks that she can walk all over him like that, and then she’d probably complain if he defended himself and hit her back.”

Another user said, “So much respect for that young man, what a star, certainly been brought up the right way. As for her, she is disgusting, (her) parents must be so proud she has turned into a vile little trollop.”

The girl was arrested the evening of the assault and charged with assault by beating.
