WATCH: Medical Science Saves Toddler After Internal Decapitation

An Australian toddler is expected to make a full recovery after doctors saved him from a horrific injury.

16-month-old Jaxon Taylor survived an internal decapitation after the car he was traveling in with his mother and sister collided with another vehicle at 68 mph. Though many children don’t survive such serious injuries, doctors in Brisbane successfully reattached the youngster’s head to his spine after six hours of surgery in what his mother, Rylea, calls “a miracle”.
