Former The Blaze employee Tomi Lahren credited herself with helping President Donald Trump win the election, a Sunday Politico write-up revealed.

Lahren argued that her segment, “Final Thoughts,” influenced the election and helped Trump gain voters by featuring his message on her show.

“I worked my ass off to get the message out. I believe that through my ‘Final Thoughts’ I had a big impact on the results of the election. I think my voice was needed and heard, and I think I tipped a lot of votes in a lot of states,” Lauren told Politico.

Lahren’s “Final Thoughts” segment was usually a short clip with Lahren ranting about subjects ranging from Black Lives Matter, Colin Kaepernick kneeling during the anthem or “liberal snowflakes.” Each video garnered about 5 million views as the election came to an end, Politico noted.

Lahren and The Blaze parted ways after The Blaze suspended her for saying she was pro-choice during an interview with “The View.” (RELATED: Lawsuit Settled: Tomi Lahren and the Blaze Finalize Their Breakup)

Lahren and The Blaze settled Lahren’s wrongful termination lawsuit in May. Lahren is now allowed to find work with other media networks and can keep control over her Facebook account.

TheBlaze is pleased to announce that the relationship with Tomi Lahren has concluded,” a spokesperson for The Blaze said in an email. “Ms. Lahren will continue to have access to her social media accounts as has always been the case.”
