On Thursday, President Donald Trump held a press conference from the East Room of the White House that lasted nearly an hour and a half.

During his conversation with the media, there were all the usual fireworks that the citizenry has come to expect from the President and the media. Claims of “fake news,” beratement of certain media outlets, stream of consciousness lines of thought, and contention were abound, and Twitter took notice.

Read some of the most interesting, contentious, confusing or even possibly some not-so-true moments that were tweeted about following the event.
