Swift Justice! Dumb Thief Tries To Rob a Retired Cage Fighter (VIDEO)

CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA – A very unlucky thief decided to rob a store owned by a retired MMA fighter. The criminal was spotted stuffing items from the record store in his clothes. Tom “Mate” Anderton walked over and demanded he empty his pockets, causing the thief to pull out a big knife. But he needed a bigger knife.

“I went to get the rest of the stuff in his pocket and when I did that, that’s when he pulled the knife out. And it was a big knife and that’s when it was on right there,” Anderton said. Anderton was formerly a cage fighter, so he wasn’t afraid to choke the hell out of the man until he could get help. He landed a punch to the thief’s face, acting on total instinct.

“I grabbed his arm, started shouting ‘drop the knife,’” Anderton says and proceeds to apply pressure to the criminal’s neck. “I’m not actually trying to choke him out,” Anderton explains, as he narrates the video. “But he’s still struggling … he’s still … in a second I just put my hand on the back of his head, apply a bit more pressure and he just goes limp.”

The thief was charged with felony robbery.
