Spider Man Star Called Out For Calling Sewing “Feminine” By Co-Star Emma Stone (VIDEO)

Spider Man star Andrew Garfield was called out for a comment he made about sewing being a “feminine” task by his co-star Emma Stone. While sitting on a panel being asked questions by little kids, Garfield responded to a query over how Spider Man got his costume by saying “he made it.”

Garfield went on to say that “it’s kind of a feminine thing to do. But, uhh, he really kind of made a very masculine costume out of a very feminine…” Emma Stone then jumped in asking, “It’s feminine how?”

Garfield then proceeds to backpedal as quickly as he can on the statement, explaining away why he believed that sewing is somehow feminine.
