Senator Rand Paul Shouts at Democrats in Congress! “They uniformly reject every proposal to reopen government!”

You wouldn’t like him when he’s angry.

Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) appeared on the Senate floor on Wednesday to offer to reopen the government if Democrats will finally come to the negotiating table. President Obama has declared he will negotiate only if Republicans meet certain demands, one of them being that they immediately vote to raise the debt ceiling.

Senator Paul tore into the Democrats in an epic rant about how the U.S. is spending more money on shutting down the government, than to keep it open. Paul shouts at the top of his lungs how the GOP has offered specific proposals to reopen the government and that the Democrats have uniformly rejected them all.

“When one of our people can’t be buried in Arlington cemetery, or a World War 2 veteran is blocked from their monuments… and is barricaded and kept from viewing the government be very clear: The Republicans have asked to open the government and the Democrats have rejected it at every point.”
