Is Santa Claus a White Guy? What about Jesus? Megyn Kelly Says She Was Just Joking, Sort Of (VIDEO)

Fox News Anchor Megyn Kelly defended herself from the vitriol aimed at her after declaring to children on her show that Santa Clause is white. Kelly claims that she was just joking and the segment was meant to be tongue in cheek, but her comments caused a firestorm of controversy. Kelly also said that Jesus was white, but acknowledged that is up for debate.

Kelly explained that she tries to bring humor to her show and “sometimes that is lost on the humorless.” She played clip after clip of her being taken to the woodshed all over the mainstream media. Her argument is that the knee-jerk instinct by so many to race bait is ridiculous and she her excuse for her statements was that our culture consistently shows Santa as a white man.
