Rare Color Film Shows Post-War Berlin In 1945

Beautiful, rare historic footage from post-war Berlin in 1945 has emerged in full, glorious color. The video shows the Brandenburg Gate, the war-torn streets and people, as well as the ruined Reichstag. The country had already been divided up into four different zones at this point by the Allied powers, as you can see the signs bearing Stalin’s picture. The video was uploaded by a man named Konstantin von zur Muehlen, who founded Chronos Media in 2001.

He is the founder of The Libertarian Republic, a powerful online news source for the public that receives an average of 1 million unique visits monthly and whose podcast, The Freedom Report, receives an average of one million monthly downloads. He is also a frequent contributor on television, appearing on Fox News, Fox Business, CNN, MSNBC and on dozens of local radio shows.
