US-POLITICS-ECONOMY-BUDGETSenator Rand Paul (R-KY) appeared on Fox News today to chastise government officials who used a bulldozer to block people from being able to enter the World War 2 monument. The drastic measure was taken after a group of WW2 veterans stormed the barricades yesterday to visit their monument after it had been closed due to the government shutdown.

Republican members of congress reportedly distracted police in order to allow the veterans to view the monument, cutting the tape and allowing them in. Because of this, vindictive government officials are taking measures to stop people from enjoying the monuments that they paid for with their own tax money.
