In his two attempts, via executive order, President Donald Trump has tried to temporarily halt US refugee resettlements, and travel from nations which are considered to be hotbeds for terror activity. And two times, the executive orders have been stopped by the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.
These action by the court have led to many conservative lawmakers, talking heads, and personalities to rail against the decision, calling the court biased, and disgraceful. There has even been a movement to get rid of the 9th Circuit all together.
Well, all the concerns on the Right, are exemplified as prominent liberal lawyer and Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz told Fox News’ “Fox and Friends” on Saturday that he believes the federal judges overstepped their bounds and that “if Obama had issued the very same order with the same words it would be constitutional.”
