San Diego Police: We screwed up. But we’re going to pepper spray you anyway!
Officers typed in a wrong letter in a license plate search, but decided to stop the vehicle in question anyway. When the woman called 911 to report the incident, the police started threatening to pepper spray the innocent couple in their car. The 911 operator then asked to end the call as police filled the car with noxious fumes and began tasering the innocent couple. The story occurred in 2010 but the 911 call was only recently revealed and shed light on the situation.
