Obama Squirms When Publicly Asked About Gruber’s Obamacare Lies

President Obama seemed visibly uncomfortable when asked a question about whether or not he was deceitful in selling health care reform to the American people.

Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber was caught admitting that Democrats counted on American voter’s stupidity and economic ignorance, forcing the president into a very uncomfortable situation politically. Obama claimed that Gruber was never on his staff, despite the fact that he was hired as a respected contractor to advise them on the legislation. Senator Harry Reid and House Representative Nancy Pelosi are both on the record praising Gruber and his work.

Republicans have gone on the attack, creating an ad that paints the president as being duplicitous in his promises of transparency. Do you think that there is any chance of repeal? The president would veto a vote to repeal, but are there enough Democrats to get it overturned? Probably not. And so we have gridlock.
