Obama Now Owns the Puddles On Your Property

By: Laura Meyers

You just think you can splash in the puddles after its rained? You think you can just destroy federal property like that? You noob. Obama owns all the puddles now. And streams. And creeks. And rills, ditches, brooks, rivulets, burns, tributaries, and wetlands.

The Obama administration, along with the Environmental Protection Agency and Army Corps of Engineers, announced that a new Executive Order will give the federal government expanded control of the nation’s wetlands.

“Water is the lifeblood of healthy people and healthy economies,” said Gina McCarthy, the EPA’s administrator. “We have a duty to protect it. That’s why E.P.A. and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers are finalizing a Clean Water Rule later this spring to protect critical streams and wetlands that are currently vulnerable to pollution and destruction.”

Speaker John Boehner pointed out the obvious by stating, “House Members of both parties have joined more than 30 governors and government leaders to reject EPA’s disastrous…rule.  These leaders know firsthand that the rule is being shoved down the throats of hardworking people with no input, and places landowners, small businesses, farmers, and manufacturers on the road to a regulatory and economic hell.”

Who would’ve thought? Just like the roads, without the federal government, who would we have to keep our water clean?
