This was the “quickest way” for her to get what she wanted

PALMA, SPAIN – A woman is being sentenced to a year in prison after she made a false report that claimed her ex-husband had abducted their child, leading to a police raid.

The couple had separated and agreed that the child would spend the day at a family party with the father. But she later changed her mind and came banging on the door of his residence during a party for the baby. She was kicking and screaming, demanding that the man hand over the child. That’s when the father called the police and things would turn for the worse.

The mother contacted the police too and reported that her ex-husband had kidnapped the child, leading to an armed raid. When officers arrived they found nothing more than a quiet child’s party. The woman revealed that this was the “quickest way” to get what she wanted. She’s now being ordered to pay $2463 to her ex-husband.
