Mom Arrested For Driving Home With 6 Kids On Top Of Her Car

CROWLEY, TX – A mother was arrested after she forced six children to ride on top of her car because she didn’t want them to get the seats wet.

Kisha Young was arrested on allegations of intoxicated assault after she flung four of the six children from the top of the car when she took a sharp right turn. Young kept driving as the children laid injured on the street, unaware that they had flown off. Intoxication assault is a third degree felony.

Young finally realized the kids were gone and turned around, finding them in urgent need of medical attention with one needing life flight after suffering a serious head injury.

“Well of course we don’t know what they were thinking,” said Crowley police officer C.C. Meadows. “However, they weren’t thinking safety.”
