Tonight, after the third presidential debate, Gary Johnson will appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live, according to the Libertarian’s Twitter.
I will be a guest tonight on @JimmyKimmelLive: “After the Debate”. Tune in!
— Gov. Gary Johnson (@GovGaryJohnson) October 19, 2016
This will not be Jimmy Kimmel‘s viewers first exposure to the former New Mexico governor, as he featured Johnson in his famous “Lie Witness News” segment last month.
This positive coverage of Johnson will come after the candidate was excluded from all three presidential debates. The exclusion comes despite the fact that at several points in the campaign, Johnson polled at double-digits. In some states, he still enjoys polling successes, including in his home state of New Mexico.
It is yet unclear what kind of interview the Libertarian nominee will play on tonight’s show. However, he is scheduled to factor into the show’s “after the debate” coverage. Other guests include actress and model Gal Gadot and “star” of the second debate, Ken Bone.
With only 20 days to go until election day, any publicity can help the former governor. He is easily on pace for one of the most successful third-party showings in modern history, as more Americans find themselves at odds with both the Republican and Democratic candidates.
