We like to complain in the United States about our taser happy, itchy trigger fingered police officers, but U.S. officers can't hold a candle to the corruption rampant of the authorities in countries like Venezuela or Paraguay. At The Libertarian Republic we report on those who abuse their authority, and quite often those imbued with authority are unfortunately those who are charged with public service. This sad story is about a young veterinary student who committed no crime, other than being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
