Heroes Turn Tables On Thief! Attacker pulls knife. Hero says: “Mine’s bigger than yours.”

Good Samaritans Save Woman, Terrify Thief

CHICAGO, IL – Two brothers were walking home one evening near the Loop when they suddenly heard a woman’s screams. She had been bitten and had her cell phone stolen by a man identified as Robert Henderson. Good Samaritans Andrew and Joel Leach immediately gave chase. Henderson then turned and drew his knife saying, “Do you guys want to get cut?”

“I pulled my own knife and said, ‘Mine’s bigger than yours… He saw my knife and started running again,” stated Andrew.

The brothers kept Henderson in hot pursuit, finally catching up to him again and demanding he empty his pockets. “We pretty much told him, ‘Look, all we want is her property,”’ Leach said. Henderson admitted that he had dropped the phone in a hoodie back near the train station. Meanwhile, the woman who was attacked arrived on the scene. Brothers Joel and Andrew helped her back to the parking lot while police arrested Henderson for felony armed robbery and aggravated battery.

The woman recovered her stolen phone.
