Here’s Where You Can Get Gas For $1.99 A Gallon

FOX 10 News | fox10phoenix.com

PHOENIX, AZ – If you’re looking for cheap gas, drive no further than Phoenix, Arizona, where you can spend $1.99 a gallon. The only catch for that station is that you have to pay cash.

Prices at the pump are dropping due to the laws of supply and demand. We’ve got lots of oil production, a glut in the market, and there’s plenty to go around. Saudi Arabia has lowered their prices for a barrel of oil, most likely to try and drive American shale oil producers out of business. But that’s not likely to happen anytime soon. The almost miraculous technique of fracking (hydraulic fracturing) is ensuring that America will continue on her path to becoming the world’s leading energy producer within the next decade.

From Fox 10:

PHOENIX (KSAZ) –Looking for cheap gas? One Phoenix gas station is selling gas for $1.99!

The Valero off of 20th Street and Osborn kicked off their sale on Sunday night.

It came as a surprise to everyone, including the gas station’s regular customers, at around 10 p.m.

The statewide average is about $2.50.

Customers say the station usually sells pretty cheap gas, but never this low.

The only catch with the promotion is that the $1.99 price is for cash-only customers.

Credit card customers need to pay a 10 cent per gallon surcharge.

The manager says that with prices going down, the station decided to drop their prices even lower as a nice Christmas present for their customers.

They believe these prices will bring in droves of customers.

The manager says it’s been about seven years since prices at this station were believe $2.00 a gallon.

The promotion isn’t just for Monday, the manager tells us they plan to keep prices this low through Christmas.
