Drunk Florida Man Hands Cops A Taco Instead Of An ID

A drunk man who passed out in a drive-thru found out the hard way that tacos do not pass as identification in the state of Florida.

Matthew Falkner was making a fourthmeal run to Taco Bell in Jensen Beach after drinking an insane amount of beers earlier in the evening. Falkner drove his Chevy pickup to the establishment, placed his order, and received his taco successfully before passing out with his foot on the accelerator of the truck.

The Taco Bell manager called the police because Falkner’s engine caught on fire due to his foot being on the gas pedal. Luckily he didn’t drive off into traffic.

When police arrived and questioned him for identification, Falkner awoke and handed them a taco. The officer explained that they did not accept tacos as valid ID. Falkner reportedly chuckled and began eating the taco.

Falkner’s blood alcohol content was between .227 and .225, three times the legal limit. He was arrested and charged with a DUI.

Also, this was apparently not a victimless crime as he was revealed to have held up the line of people who were waiting for their own ID’s, err… tacos.
