Drudge Report: CNN “Moving Himalayan Mountains” in Attempt to Sign Megyn Kelly Kody Fairfield December 1, 2016 Headline News 1910 Share101 +11 Tweet Pin Share StumbleShares 102By Kody Fairfield According to an exclusive from the Drudge Report, current Fox News star anchor Megyn Kelly is being pursued heavily by Fox’s rival network CNN. It’s being reported to Drudge, by a “top insider,” that CNN President Jeff Zucker is fighting hard to bring Kelly, whose contract at Fox ends in July of 2017, over to his network in order to anchor the 8 or 9 PM time slot. The toughest obstacle for Zucker however, seems to be the payday the move may require as Kelly currently has a $20 million dollar offer on the table from her current home network. “He is moving the Himalayan mountains to get her,” a top insider explains. “But they are tripped up on money. He simply can’t pay her the $20 million a year FOX has on the table.” Zucker is reported to have offered heavy promotion and synergy across all TIME WARNER outlets in order to compensate for the difference in salary. A top source close to the action describes how Megyn would be an immediate international star at CNN. “It’s the opportunity of lifetime.” “She could even star in a movie at WARNER BROS.” A move for Kelly would not be terribly shocking, as bitter tiffs with fellow Fox star Bill O’Reilly, and turbulent relationships with President-elect Donald Trump and former Fox Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes, could push her away from the network that helped her career blossom. It will be interesting to see what Kelly decides to do, but it appears that if you were to ask the Drudge what their opinion is, they believe she “might just say, YES!” Share101 +11 Tweet Pin Share StumbleShares 102 cnnDonald Trumpdrudge reportfox newsjeff zuckerMegyn Kellyroger ailesVenezuela’s Money Is So Worthless, They’re Weighing Instead Of Counting ItToo Bad, So Sad: Dem Senator Says Nuking The Filibuster Was A Huge MistakeAbout The AuthorKody FairfieldEditor-in-Chief Kody Fairfield is a 26 year old from Orange County, California.
