Transgender reality star Caitlyn Jenner has been invited by Trump to attend the presidential inauguration ceremonies. And Jenner, reportedly, had accepted that invitation, making her the first celebrity LGBT activist with a ubiquitous appeal to show active support for the president-elect at the White House.
According to The Daily Mail:
Jenner’s decision to attend the inauguration makes her one of a few celebrities to show public support for the new president, who it’s been widely reported has been having trouble finding famous names willing to perform at the ceremony.
The former Olympic gold medalist is a conservative Republican but has been critical of GOP reluctance to fully embrace and support the LGBT community.
The former wife of Keeping Up With The Kardashians momager Kris Jenner has also expressed interest in serving as a ‘trans ambassador’ under a Republican presidency.
No word yet on how Milo is taking this.
