BREAKING: U.S. Withdraws From Trans-Pacific Partnership, Say Reports

At 12:15 EST this morning, WikiLeaks’s Twitter account tweeted the following message:

“Asian press reporting US has withdrawn from TPP.”

An included link led to an official WhiteHouse.gov page making such a promise as well, though not disclosing a specified date or time.

Though no specific sources were given other than the official White House link, Nikkei Asian Review has dropped a story similar in tone around the same time, though the story itself amazingly has no content in its body that references anything to do with an actual withdrawal from the Trans-Pacific Partnership. So this has not been confirmed by us as the source.
