Bill O’Reilly Predicts the End of One of the Candidates Come Debate Night

by Micah J. Fleck

Bill O’Reilly was recently on Jimmy Kimmel, and made some interesting predictions about what could end one of the candidates’ campaigns come as early as debate night.

According to ETF News:

O’Reilly stated that he believed the debate could prove as the end point for the campaign of either of the two candidates, should they not be on their best behavior while on the stage.

After first noting that debate would be “fun” and likely draw “huge” ratings, O’Reilly nevertheless warned that if Trump engaged in the same sort of insulting behavior as he did during the GOP primary debates, “that would be the end of him.”

Speaking of those early debates, O’Reilly declared, “I thought I was watching Don Rickles.”

“If he starts that with Hillary Clinton, ‘you’re crooked. Crooked Hillary,’ He’ll lose. That’ll be the end of him,” he said, before adding, “On the other side, Hillary Clinton is calling him all kinds of names. Misogynist. Racist. If she starts that, she’ll lose.”

But do we think O’Reilly is actually correct in this prediction? After all, both campaigns have won their respective primaries by being exactly as corrupt and shocking as O’Reilly thinks they should avoid being on the debate stage. Perhaps this election cycle is so unusual that being their vicious selves is exactly what the American people want.

All will be answered soon once the debate finally occurs.
