Reason TV is wondering if The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms has something better to do, other than set up stings to bust people for selling cigarettes. The ATF reportedly gets to keep money they get by profiting from illegal activity.

According to a report, the ATF pocketed $4.9 million dollars in one operation. After dozens of stings there were $162 million profits made and the agency reportedly lost 420 million cigarettes. And yeah, these are the people who let guns walk across the border into Mexico for Operation Fast & Furious.
