Twitter is abuzz after Politico reporter, Kevin Robillard, says the American Action Network, a center-right non-profit public policy organization, is dropping hundreds of thousands of dollars into ads directed at members of the House Freedom Caucus (HFC) due to their opposition of the American Health Care Act.

Robillard tweeted, “@AAN spot targets 30 members of the Freedom Caucus, pressures them “to vote with President Trump.” He then mentions that AAN has put out $500k targeting the HFC, and that another organization, Priorities USA, a voter-centric progressive advocacy organization, has put “$100k+ into 9 different states as well.

The writer for Politico then published the list containing the GOP representatives who have been targeted by AAN, including Justin Amash of Michigan, Jim Jordan of Ohio, Mark Meadows of North Carolina, and Mark Sanford of South Carolina.

Rep. Amash, who is named on this list, was clearly not to happy about this taking to Twitter to say, “GOP Establishment is now running ads targeting House conservatives who oppose Obamacare 2.o. I always enjoy watching the Establishment (fire emoji) (cash emoji).”

Below is an example of the ads, this one was targeted at Rep. Raul Labrador.
